4 years and slow progress.

September 3 this year was Mine & Taters 4 year anniversary. We all know she & I are slow but progressive. I decided to have a photo drop. If you don't follow me on Facebook, and sometimes, even if you are watching the Tater album, I forget to select the album when I photo drop there.

Here's a celebration post with some progress you may have missed, mostly because I'm negligent.

In October 2018 I put in the drive shafts, & I know you rarely get a peek at me so there ya go. Some of Frank pulling her into my very own garage back in June 2019. There are the water pump, & fan + Fan belt I put back on in September 2020 & a few days later David helped me clean up the engine & install a new gasket. Then in 2021 with the hood & old grill on while the garage got a complete overhaul..Finally, got that grill hung & everything organized for the girl. There was only around 30 contractors bags of a hoarders trash collection. Now, there is more room & less fire hazard to work on Tater.

It's been a hot minute.

So listen, I promise to update soon. I had a divorce, moved house, no longer had a reliable desktop, the laptop I had well, its a windows 7 and that's like trying to run a 2020 with 1987 components the computer is just not there.,,and also....Tater moved garages, she's now at my house in my garage instead of taking up storage at my friends. Shit was a hot mess and a half for quite the hot minute.  I'm getting there, I'm trying. The new house now finally has usable and workable space. I bought a new laptop today, for something completely unrealated to this blog but here we are 😂

I'm working on getting a welder here, the goal is approximately two weeks from now for that.

I have to work on the brakes all over again, they stopped stopping. So, Tater was loaded and unloaded off a trailer with Ridley's winch (Ridley is my 2015 Wrangler).

I promise to post photos of Tater in her new garage & some updates soon. I did finally find the hinges for the seats, and I found a bracket at Tractor Supply to latch the seat with.

Hopefully, I find the steering wheel soon, It got lost in the move.

I totally GOT THIS

and I'll see you soon I swear.

My Tater, Is just sitting. UGH I hate cold weather and holidays.

The transmission and driveshafts are FINALLY in.

That part of the project was the biggest bitch. I'd be lying to myself if I thought any of the rest of it is going to be any easier...

My 2K project is well on to 7K now

In case you want to be a cool kid... Here's the list so far.

Seats are finished. :) Hopefully somewhere I find the pivot brackets for the seats. I thought they were on the seats, but I didn't get them back with the seats. So, they're either at Dale Morris Enterprises floating around (I'll have to call Dale) Or they're in Mike's garage (I'll have to get a hold of Mike)

My hands are in a lot of cookie jars at the moment. I'm spread way to crazy. I'll get there. Hopefully.
