Updates of progress and no shopping list.

So, with my activities that pay for my jeep parts picking up, because it is the season. And you know Jeep. I haven't made the time (OH, I've had the time, I'm just not that into it) to update the blog. However, I do know this lovely Jeep of mine has followers full of love (I may make it a go fund me page so I can get done faster) ( Don't hate I am totally teasing, but I mean hey if you're willing to sponsor) LMAO ok ok ok

With a little help from Magic Mike and his brother, Rick, we got it in the garage and stopped (as you well know she goes, but she doesn't stop #brakesareforpussies). With a little more help from some fellow 304 Jeep Club Members, Magic Mike and I got the top off of it. Then while we were cooking up some garage snacks I put together the new canvas doors, and later that after noon Magic Mike beat the handles and window cranks off the doors and cut off the windshield supports for the top, I removed the hinges. Those pieces are now some where out in Kansas supporting the top of another Jeep CJ5 club member. (Happy it was useful to someone)  Magic Mike removed the windows and cut up all the bad metal on the top. (So if you know anyone who needs glass for their Meyers Cab, you know hook em up with the link to this blog.)

Now, this is the best, cleanest, spot on my jeep. Tater's original Green.
Avocado Mist. Yes, I'm keeping it this green. I'm in love with this green.

So, Now the windshield has been slightly disassembled, Magic Mike took it apart. It's still attached by hinges only and he also cut off my old rotted out fenders.

We started bleeding the brakes, then realized we actually do need to replace those cylinders as well as my  lets go drifting brake cable. Now, its just sitting with no wheels and tires being soaked in Aero Kruel or how ever you spell it. So we can break the lines loose with out cutting them. Otherwise... hello new break lines LMAO

Ah damn, I ordered the new rear floor panel.. didn't think about that fuckin support.

In the description of that new floor panel I just ordered, the supports come with! HELL YEAH!!
Mad props to Classicent.com for covering my ass there.

There you have it ladies and gents. A naked Jeep
I took out the seats.
Magic Mike said "Those aren't gonna come out with that little ratchet"
Then I proceeded with the little ratchet, A. He LOVES to laugh at me and B. I do what I want and I wanted to use that little ratchet.
HOLY SHIT it worked like easy!
then Magic Mike says "I have been proven wrong"

I feel like in his defense though everything has been such a rusted pain in the ass to break loose (and some of it I did regrettably use a ratchet and hurt my hands but broke it lose) that when I discovered the seats weren't in that tight, we were both shocked. I didn't think that ratchet was gonna work either.

Soon, my floor panels (rear and passenger) will be here from classicent.com and my toe support. Here's to many years in Tater. We are going to be a great match.

"WE GOT THIS"

4 years and slow progress.

September 3 this year was Mine & Taters 4 year anniversary. We all know she & I are slow but progressive. I decided to have a photo...
